Getting your licence back

After the course you should receive a copy of your certificate. At the same time as a copy has been sent to you, the original will have been sent to the court.

So if you do not receive a certificate, and you have no reason to think you have not taken the course successfully, you should contact us to find out what has happened.

Around six weeks before you are due to return to driving, you need to apply for your licence.

If you do not complete a course, or if you fail to attend or pay in full, or do not follow the instructions of the trainer, we have to send a Notice of Non-Completion to you. We send details of all who fail to complete a course back to the court. The main reason for us having to send people the Notice , and those people losing the early return to driving and cheaper insurance, is because it is sometimes left too late to book a course.
